According to posts from Bob's son and rumors...no plans or drawing. Original layouts were chalklines on the shop floor
...common way boats were lofted. drawn on the floor and/or wall...
The old ways are best Unbelievable isn’t it the way the old masters did things. Kids nowadays can’t design a damn thing without CADCAM Three-dimensional 62K computers. And then forget about the bill without anything building it with anything less than a full CNC machine

The bonus today is idea to solid object is faster.
but the clever inventor issue remains the same.
Willabee (Mercury factory team) mentioned in Hot Multi's that he was the one who named Sirois twin outboard Up Up and Away.
I believe that Havasu boat was the only boat that Bill Sirois drove with Up Up and Away painted on it.

Outstanding[QUOTE=Lake X Kid;3353495]https://youtu.be/-Qlv9eYUyPk[/QUOTEThe photos of the balsa mock ups look pretty cool. Don’t know whole lot about design and stuff like that. Like I say Almartin built my boats and IRaced them He repaired the Molinary that I bought from like x and I raced that also. Raced The glass kitson that I bought from Stu Gray 46 or seven months before I got into the wood boats. Race to Donzi at the pelican Harbor racist back in the 60s and an eliminator SK boat back in the late 60s early 70s had a Mandela GN Boat With a small block Chevy and it ran about 8587. The 20 rays on craft That I owned was driven by Tommy Chandler one of the best drivers that I know engines were built by Doug Janish anywhere between 482 and 540 inches Doug built awesome engines. Ran with the dailies on some occasions but could not beat them. I’m just a local RacerFrom Miami Florida don’t know a lot about the rest of the world I’m just a swamp cracker. Gary Peacock was my mentor so you form your own opinions.

I do have a pair of these on the shelf in SUPERSHED—in white —-all wood——never did do the canopy both have the correct. Numbers —-700. and 7000. Made them over ten years ago. Hand carved out of the solid so they are probably number two and three .
i do remember Kenny Kitsons „“EL DIABLO“ was the first i ever attempted .
Couple of years later did i FERNAGLED a pair of REDBIRDS ——one for Gene and the other for Ted.
