Hell yea, The formula race i have is almost better in every way except the option of a warranty... BUt i like that merc is marketing this I hope it pressures other manufactures to do similar stuff for low hp perf engines that we desperately need. An etec 60-90 with a 15" mid and a small race gearbox would be awesome for small performance boats.
Got the splashwell and transom all faired out, rolled some primer on thick, got to knock it down flat. Of course got to have S&F backing plates.

Well she's finally finished, it would have been done last week but I made a big mistake and soaked the boat with the hose when the paint was wet and the whole top needed to be sanded and resprayed... Anyways here's the pics finally done, just waiting for paint to cure then start rigging it.

Sure is slick....Getting closer.
Looks great! Can't wait to reach that point with mine, so close. Looking forward to the rigging and seeing it in the water.
Well timing sucks for me, with everything going on in the world, all the boat ramps are closed so there is no rush to rig it honestly. sanding and buffing a few spots then will drop the boat off for its graphics then ill start throwing things in it.
Finished wetsanding buffing and polishing, got some vinyl wrap on the cap, graphics next and rub rail.

Very nice
What is your fairing compound of choice?
I used adtech p 14 or 17, P77 for the light easy sanding.
