About that same time Bobby Druery set a kilo record in SE in a little flat bottom McCall with a 50 on it. That boat was sitting on John's shop floor when I went to trade him my McCall tunnel for a new v-bottom. That little se boat was so light I couldn't believe it. I got John to build me a v-bottom just like it. Wasn't as light. Saw a picture on this forum of Bobby running through the kilo at Toano VA. in the little ftat bottom.Quote:
