Got a little done on the cap tonight, soon will get sanded.

Sanded first coat of primer, filled pinholes and low spots, painted second coat filled a few more pinhole spots and then wet sanded it, came out great, time to finish bottom.

After the last coat of primer, got all the small stuff filled, wet sanded and got the final coat of primer on this morning. Wet sand once again this week and the plan is to paint the bottom next week. Im tired of looking and sanding primer, time for the real color. Boat will go back on trailer so I can start sanding the inside. and finish the glass work on transom and splashwell before it gets primed and painted.

Yea tell me about it thanks, I dont like doing things half ass I try to do the best I can, unfortunately it kicks me in the ass sometimes but this should be worth it. My last bullet never made it this far so im determined to finish this one. I have learned alot during this process also, I did not know much about fiber glassing or paint until now so future projects should be easier. April will mark 2 years into this project and hopefully I can finish it by then. Next project is cleaning up the 13ft critchfield and pulling a mold from it and redesigning a new deck. Thanks to Keith ( gorilla ) he has shown me alot and I have learned pretty much everything from him, I appreciate his help, he has always answered all of my questions. If it was not for him i would likely have never finished this on either.Quote:

This thing is turning out amazing! I like the paint booth.
We got it flipped and back on trailer, should have it all sanded inside ready for gelcoat.
