225 Promax Smoked Piston Need Advice

1 piece head looks little better and mite cool little better but the 2 piece will work

Also agree with Texas about possible sleeve/holder issues, pics can be extremely deceiving on actual damage(s)!
Hence having a GOOD knowledgable machinist is key on getting it done properly.
Hopefully all other internals parts are OK or it can get price.

I will be building it, I put a couple 2.0's together about 15 years ago so it doesn't scare me. Plus I have built 20+ pro et drag bike motors.

I just like a little friendly competition. I had a rude once, 150 xp on a norris craft, ran great pushed the boat well too. I'm just addicted to the sound the 2.0 2.4 2.5's make lol. I was really sad when Merc quit making 2 strokes. If I had to buy a brand new motor today, it would be a G2.

All XP motors ran very well!!
Many years ago....Lol I had a Rude 200XP and it ran extremely well and kept up with some strong Mercs.
