Time for a 103ci
Another view from the front. Geoff & TLM continue their progress.

My understanding is he has bought the motor, so why tell him to change? Optimize what he has. If the boat is light I'd expect 50+. My contribution could be selling props. I have two V4 props left over from my V4 days, a 17" Stilletto (sp?) that I used for skiing and a 24 Raker.
I used to have a 13' Voo Doo and I miss tooling around in a small boat. Not enough space now, so those days are done.
Not sure weight of this when finished but you figure that 67 hp will turn 24" ?
Looks like a fun boat, like to try 265lbs 103ci on that. 1.73:1:D
I’d love to see it spin a 24, but I doubt it. My 90hp two stroke couldn’t spin a 26 on my 14’ bayliner, even my 500lb tunnel with a 115hp can barely turn a 26.
Regardless of it all, I’m still excited to see this new boat in action and to see the progress pics!!! Sorry if I sounded like a Debbie downer
I would love to see a stretched out version of this boat. You know, something like 15'. Maybe lengthen the sponsons a bit past the deck in the front.
Beautiful boat nonetheless.
24" pitch, 2.36 gears, 5500 rpm, 10 percent slip, 48 mph.
Seems plausible.
That motor will turn a 24 easy..another 1000 rpm on the limiter would make life easier though.
The 24 should not be a problem. OMC 75 turned a 23 on EP boats with a way lower (higher?) gear ratio.
It'll turn a 21/22 guaranteed
We hope to start with a 22. Waiting for the next bunch of progress on the boat. We have sized up the interior and TLM is working to design.
It will not be a stripper boat. It will have nicely accented gauges, stereo (nothing special) and... wait for it... Cup Holders! LOL
Hoping to keep it light so that is key.
When I know more, you will know more.
Fun stuff:cheers:
My Biel Promise is coming along! Here is a vid of the interior to date. We have a color scheme for it. TLM is moving along well - Thanks to Geoff and crew for their steady work. Gonna be a deluxe little bugger.

Can't wait to see her all together
Interesting that the rear seat form is wood. My similarly curved J Craft seatback is molded glass.
