Yes to tighter heads and composite reeds. Plate I doubt will see much on stock engine. Engine will accelerate better but still hit the wall at top end.

Try it and see, you never really know until you try it. For sure not gonna hurt it and it will be a heck of a lot funner to drive with improved acceleration.
Ok, I'm going to go forward with the plan. Dago diver is going to help me with the exhaust, I'm not looking for miracles, just a little more power out of this great little mota!
Im sure your setup is already prefect probably but if your rig can stand it raising the engine height a tiny amount maybe a 1/4 or so will free up some rpms and mph.
I swear you said you were leaving it alone :D
You right about that, life is too short to drive stock boats! We gotta modify everything !:D
T-Rex's puter says a gain for his carb motor ;)http://www.screamandfly.com/showthre...ht=Carb+spacer
Looks like me and old Rex think a lot alike! Except I know about 1/16th what that old buzzard knows!
I think he even uses that seat of the pants term also
Buy Quintons 300 powerhead and keep the stock one as a spare.
Now we talking, now that'll for sure help top end! Like your way of thinking Mr. Demeanor!
I don't need that. I want to keep the mods simple with reliability being the key. I'm no longer chasing a big top end number. I still have the Promax if I want to go faster. All I want is 90+, or close. I'll sacrifice some speed for reliability, the mods I'm going to do are what Dago is recommending, nothing more. The CCM reeds are for safety, the spacer because I LOVE the mid range punch with my 26 os chopper. The 29srx pulls hard, I'd like a little more like the 26, with the same top end. If after everything I plan, if I get nothing more than I have now, I'll live comfortably with that!
Sounds like you have a great game plan! I hope it turns out like you want. You'll definitely like the increased acceleration. Keep us posted how it does, always cool to see how different combinations respond to changes.
