Being the old beer, Con o sewer that I am, I love discovering new beers probably comes from having been in the beer and wine business in my younger days. I love to try all sorts of new and fantastic beers, but I keep coming back to Guinness, stout and dragon, stout, and since there were some Irish Mexicans Modelo Tecate Carta Blanca have any kind of beer on sale. Afraid I had to give up on bush light since they went over to the Darkside. Seems like a lot of other people did too just shows you can’t show closet queers down anybody’s throat. Oops sorry if I offended any of you rump rangers, but I’m not gonna march in your parade
Great pictures of the lake of the Ozarks. Went up there years ago to visit some of my ex-wife‘s relatives Tom and Judy Noland from Kansas City. They have had several houses on the lake for years and Tom and family have a machine shop in Kansas City. I was only up there once and I guess once was enough for them. I haven’t been invited back since oh well I gave Tom the nickname tequila Tom terrible on one of his ventures down to Miami years ago we haven’t been allowed to hang out since, at least my ex-wife is consistent and still calls me an asshole every time we see each other. Oh well.

I would say it is miracle no one died at the scene. Pity the home owner as his insurance will likely go up because the insurance company will say that his property is at risk from big fast boats.
Another tragedy and I’m probably not going to comment on this from my past boating DUI experience, but people please realize ALCOHOL and DRUGS and BOATING do not mix, stirred or shaken
I've never been a fan of running at speed in the dark. Even with radar. No sense of distance, hazards or other boats. Nav lighting is a joke. Doesn't really work until 2 secs before collision / impact. No wake speeds are an absolute must in darkness. Appears that the center console tube structure acted like a roll cage? BUI? No surprise there. I'm glad isn't a local boater (knowing better). It's the out-of-towners you have to worry about.Quote:

The two French brothers drove to victory in Paris 6 Hours 1975. Very few Team Mercury in Paris 1975..if I remember right they blamed it on safety and Scotti's accident the year before.
(strange..in my opinion when there was plenty of T4 in the OZ class race 1979..the 6 hour race was run exactly the same way 1979 when Velden won with his 3 liter Johnson RS V6.

One main reason Mercury Factory Team Drivers were fewer in 1975, was because Roy Ridgell (Mercury European Race Manager) left Como, Italy and went back to the USA in 1974.
Thereafter, the cohesive organization of Merc's European commitment and support started dwindling.
Later after Roy left for another Merc assignment, his Mercury boss, Gary Garbrecht would vacate his position as Mercury Race Manager.
