Been a farting about sort of day——- sweet FA at the car boot sale—— not much to write home about at the scrapyard either.
Lizzie had her fifth birthday party at the cricket club pavilion—— 35 screaming kids is not my idea of a good time, so I politely declined the invite.
We have a hurricane coming through tomorrow—— 80 mph winds and a high tide, some six feet higher than it should be.
Watched the six nation rugby —— ENGLAND trundled their way through to a win over Scotland in spite of Farrel missing the goal posts three times. Lacklustre performance!
The bitch has landed—- hurricane CIARRA struck during the night, sixty mph winds with light rain, monumental waves in the channel—— ninety miles per hour for tomorrow—— jolly hockey sticks—- it’s all happening here.
Slow progress in the shop, keep switching tasks—- solve one problem and another little darling raises its ugly head. I plough through them in my own inimitable fashion.
Confess, the sheets are dragging this morning ( hard to get out of bed) looking out the window, not one bit excited about shifting.
I’m reminded that CIARRA is a storm, not a hurricane——— try telling that to the hundreds of home owners who have been flooded out of their houses——- thousands trapped at stations and underground because the trains aren’t running.
Thousands at the airports because planes don’t land or take off when it’s blowing winds of 90 mph with torrential rain, yup, it’s just a storm, will continue through the night and all day tomorrow—— Tuesday’s looking better, winds dropping to 50 mph with snow
What was it Forest Gumps mum said——Life is like a box of chocolates !,,,,,,
It is a Super Moon right now...so tides will be affected accordingly.
Yup, crisis is right, we had a super moon and the met office reckoned the tides on the south coast were eight feet higher than normal——- 93 mph winds were recorded on the Isle Of Wight.
We were lucky, from the midlands, all the way up to Scotland received the brunt of the storm —- rivers burst their banks ——- over 200 yellow flood alerts.
Definitely a bit damp in ENGLAND at the minute.

Brighton sea front—— not your regular blow job !!!
Temperatures dropping along with the wind—— forecast is updated to snow and wind—— jolly hockey sticks—— like I said before— Some Days You Eat Bear!!!!
Todays comics are full of hundreds of pictures of floods—— fallen trees—- aircraft that tried to land at Gatwick, failed to do so, headed back from where they came.
Cruise ships quarantined because of the “ CORONAVIRUS outbreak——- eight confirmed cases in England with more expected——- my snitch is dribbling—— wonder if that counts ?
Me myself think it’s an old fart syndrome—— tell me I’m not the only one with a snotty nose!
Guess I must have really thrilled y’all!!!!
Not-to worry—- I’ll be back in the workshop in the morning fernagling nothing in particular—— just keeping the arthritis at bay and the little grey cells clicking over—— it’s what I do!

Gary and Lou Stray over at GIECO are both fruit and nut cases when it comes to soccer——- Lou is an ardent Tottenham ( Spurs) fan, Whilst Gary is a fervent Southampton ( Saints) addict.
Both teams are in the English premier league, so, if I see any memorabilia from either team on my travels, I tend to scoop it up.
First piccie is of every shirt Saints have donned every year since their inception——— second is of their original ground, —- St. Mary’s.
Jackie, if somehow you could get all your pieces of artwork to this show in Vero Beach, Florida...you would sell all of it and much more. Its a really classy show with gobs of money walking around. Its just a town or two north of where all your kin is at, in Stuart/Ft.Pierce. It would be a half hour drive.https://lh6.googleusercontent.com/pr...eM-ZDh5pc=s0-d
...Always beautiful weather then, and the landscape the same... http://tours.allthingstreasurecoast....he_oaks_lg.jpg

We have much the same thing here in SUSSEX Fuji, Goodwood has an amazing museum called “THE CASS FOUNDATION “ massive pieces of art from all over the world spread over about fifty acres.
just never had the balls to offer them any of my stuff.
You have the BLUE ANGELS—— We have “THE RED ARROWS”—— they appear here, right over my house twice a year, once at the FESTIVAL OF SPEED—— and then at THE REVIVAL, both held at Goodwood.
Honest to Murgatroyd Fuji, I have better and more imaginative concepts than that chucked away in my workshop !!!
My imagination runs a bit deeper than a wine bottle in a wooden cage——- there’s one in the shed that’s twice the piece that one is——- that’s no more than a days work!
C’mon Fuji—— you’re having a laugh—— craft maybe, never art!
