"Somebody else's thread currently in sour grapes because Stoker's running a Merc, let alone a four stroke. It's time to change with the times and technology and Stoker just made the mark on the wall for all the deniers (2 stroke)"
Well WaterZebra,
Not sure why you are doing this..This thread is about OMC racing history and nothing else.
If former OMC drivers like to race today its more than fine with me.
2 stroke or 4 stroke..I have no problem with that either..but its not for this thread..!!
I am going to the boat races today here at Lake of the Ozarks to met up with today's drivers.
Enjoy your day.

We did run in to Terry Rinker..probably the oldest US F1 driver/champ in the race.
I told him.. I know how to make you look great again..he looked at me in a funny way..and I asked Carina to stand next to Terry..
See..now you look great.!!

You have a sense of humor, Lars now we know why Karina loves you so much.
In Missouri the Lake of the Ozarks crowd enjoy being on the water, just as much as, boaters in Havasu and South Florida enjoy it too.

Thank you @Lake X Kid
This man (picture) is the reason for me visiting Lake of the Ozarks for the first time 1993.
Mr. Bill told me about Lake of the Ozarks in the early eighties at a race in Europe..(Probably Paris 6 hours)
He use to have a condo here and Tim is living here permanently.
As always Mr. Bill was here yesterday and so much fun to see him. Mr. Bill is getting up there in age and in my opinion the best ever racer still promoting the sport.
Tim's wife Debbie Seebold took this picture yesterday.

Meeting “the Rinkers” at the street party yesterday.
Fun group of people and my guess is Terry is going to show the young guns how to win the F1 race today.
Maybe Mason wins the “bumper boat class”..https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/e...5/16/1f603.png

Yep..........back in the days when box trucks were the only pit support vehicles. Then somebody from CA showed up with a 5th wheel trailer. Then semi truck pullers, then the motorized pit toys and scooters were added. Ruined everything about keeping things simple in the pit area.

Jerry Rinker in post 11301 is a very tough racer in tri hull racing.
Well Keith,
I could never figure out if it was the "old man" driving the yellow boat or his son..!!
If I recall correct the "old man" told Carina he was the driver..but we where pretty far away from the wet pit and did not see.

Lake Havasu, 1972. Johnnie Won!!
A Little Tidbit……. On Friday afternoon Jimbo’s boat got hit in the side in the motel parking lot by a driverless runaway vehicle….. not a race related vehicle. They worked all night repairing the side, bottom and top. They finished about 5:00 am……all the way to the blue stripe.
What a Crew!! https://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/e....5/16/2764.pnghttps://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/e....5/16/2764.pnghttps://static.xx.fbcdn.net/images/e....5/16/2764.png
I was there in 1972 as a spectator. Would have liked to drive in that race. Always liked endurance racing.
Two old guys that are classics. Hope you’re doing better Mr. Bill.
