Oh my. It floats nice.
I can't find where it's mentioned, what's the weight of the 60 ?
247 according to merc for the formula race (15" mid) Lighter than a 20" 2 stroke with a jackplate.
Love that angle from the front! It floats perfectly. Did you take it for a spin, or is nothing hooked up yet? That's got to be a tease. I'm also jealous of your boat ramps.
So my tunnel has hit a max of 65mph, porpoising bad. I gotta fix that issue. Probably go a little higher, and keep messing with props.
Yeah, probably enough hp.
Yeah, probably enough hp.
I couldn't take it for a spin, the cap is just sitting on the hull you can see in some pics, not even screwed down. only thing i didnt hook up was the control cables and steering ram althought it was in the boat to get a close weight. instead of the fuel tank i used a heavy vise that would weigh around the same to get an idea.
Finished the glass on footboard and bulkhead fitting area. Got boat flipped. Body work time. Then Glass top to bottom, primer, paint. In the last leg of the race here ..

Getting close to finishing up the bottom, little more sanding and little more filling then ready for primer, probably to the fairing on the transom and possibly sides while it's upside down.

Trust me, do the whole hull while flipped.
Got around to finishing up the decals for the boat..
It's name will be RipsaW. Made a Bullet 130 decal also.
Fl numbers will be similar probably lighter or darker not sure yet for FWC visability purposes.
Boat will be around the similar color as the background. Second pic is actual color.
