Way back say 1966/7 at Oswego Dragstrip had a exhibition anything day (Michigan Madman with his V-8 powered bike, a dude with dual rocket engine go kart, etc) a dude had a layed down IL6 6 Merc pipes pointed out the side, inline the frame, how he worked it to run that way with a 2 speed trans was beyond me as never got a chance to see it in the pits. DAMN, that sucker SCREAMED! Searched all over for it, and can't find anything...
