...The above car was built in 1962 in California, by Woody Sanders, and raced by Bill Packard. It was raced numerous times at Pomona, Riverside, Santa Barbara, Tucson & even Dodger Stadium. Powered by two Mercury 500E 4-cylinder powerheads that drove the rear axle via chain drives. Race rules of the day required the car to have reverse, so the engines also started in reverse, to satisfy this ruling. The car ran very well & was nicknamed "Little Nasty", mainly because it was so loud.
