sounds fun. stormed here again yesterday and lastnight.
took my HST for a ride and invited my friend to bring his vegas. didnt make it 100 yards from the boat ramp and my motor shut down. got it fired back up and headed back to the boat ramp and died as i was pulling up to it. i put it on the trailer and checked it out and found that it had water in the gas. guess im doing the tank cleaning thing today:(.
ordered one this morning.
i'll check and see if i do or try to take a few and post them
dont have any but will take some when the wife gets back so she can show me how to work this camera.
hey bigboy, got called back to work early(like the evening i was going to post those pics) and called the wife to get her to post them and for some crazy reason she had deleted them from the camera.
Hey Bigboy,
Is this what you are looking for? The first pick is looking back at the transom port side and the 2nd and 3rd are looking foward at the stringers I added to strenthen the hull.

Hi,
Actualy I need some pictures of HST's that are built differently or had a rebuild. Because some of them have another construction scheme. Fe no floor under the tank etc... I just want to know what is possible and not. Where it needs some stifness etc
It's amazing how streams differ from layup. I think the knees at the transom are longer in mine. But the reinforcement in the nose is different. The reinforcement at the sides is a lot longer in your boat. I was planning to redo them and make them longer just like your hst...
Thx
Hello HST Friends. hope all is well. me and my oldest son which is 18yo took mine for a ride yesterday and it ran great. was turning 6800RPM's with my new 14.5x26et and was faster then my old prop. id like to get my RPM's closer to 6000 sense its a stock motor and dont want to blow it up. Any advice on which prop i should get. Thanks
Put mine in the water last weekend to try her out. Still seeing 75mph @ around 5700rpm with the 26pitch chopper. Things feel good and solid with the o/s mid and it gets out of the hole and up to speed a lot better with the chopper. Maybe I'll turn her up around 6500 next time out and see what she does.
venus, you might try going to a 28 pitch and see what happens. You got a speedo yet?
Thats wot. I got 2 subs an amp and boxes up front, 3/4 tank of gass and a bunch of other chit cause I use as a lake boat. 2 anchors etc... and yes I am still learning the boat.
