96MPH is a resectable speed- BUT its far from 100 when where talking about V hull boats.....

I disagree. I personally witnessed a 22 Progression/300X run 100 and 101 mph on several occasions. That's 101 mph on GPS. It is what it is. The boat was that fast.
There's also an old 24 Progression with a 300X running 90 on GPS. I know this boat too.

i run a1968 14 ft.mfg wit a 200 merc.i have the transom reinforced and have tie bars,6 inch setback,rite now my problem is blowout.the gear case is at bobs gettin a nosecone and l.w.p.hope to be runnin for wednesday nite.today im installing hyd. steering and solid mounts. jerry dont even try to race me,i seen ya boat runnin,keep it on the trailer!!!!!!! A.H

jerry wats so funny?my grandfather gave me that boat we had new sub floor put in and a new transom done. and buy the way it it not for sale.jerry you will see .....my keller speedo reads 82 mph ,but blows out cause no nose cone. the name on the boat is hard times made much better then ya progression...see ya at tanner pk.
