Congrats looks amazing
I thought it looked good but they blocked the sides 1 more time after I took these pictures.
Very nice! Is this going to be a twin 300XS as well?
Yes it is now a 300XS boat "was originally scheduled to have 400s" but Paul got wise and realized that it is fast enough with XS power. I can't wait to start getting some video and having guys here in Florida being able to see one in person. Dan has been doing prop testing and tweaking so Paul will have a head start and we can all work together on refining the set up as things progress.

Dan held into his boat a little longer this weekend and ran it up to 123. This is with stock 300XS power. I have always held to my original prediction that these boats will run 125 with stock XS motors and 130+ with X power heads. This was done with 100 gallons of fuel on board and warm California air-
That is rollin' for a 28 foot 3700LB rig.

So, now that the hull has seen some use: how well does it handle rough water?
Thats great to hear. Those are impressive numbers with stock 300xs!
Any video of the boat?
So, now that the hull has seen some use: how well does it handle rough water?--It glides over chop and I personally would take it out in anything that other 28 cats will run in.
Any video of the boat? --I have asked for it many times. We will be picking up another one after things in TX. get back on track "these are built in Corpus Christi". Once we have the next boat rigged I will be doing video myself. It will only be about 40 miles from me.

Sorry to bring up an old Conversation but who makes the Velcro lap belts and who did you buy them from?
Thanks!
Is it possible to rig the DW 28 with a single 400R?
