Saturday I went to the 73rd Catalina Ski Race.
On Paul's Apache he has the props rotating away from each other, where the prop washes are shooting outward.
I said that leaves a nicer spread-out wake for the Skier to ride, and he said yes.
I asked him without a Skier, does it matter if your props are turning the prop-wash inward or outward. And he said no difference in boat performance.
Here is the Apache's twin screws.

Here are some of the other 40 boats about ready to compete.

Ski racing is high on my list of crazy things to want to do. Water is hard at those speeds
Rusty Roddenberry's build. It was built for a pond drag race. Very short "track". Braggin' rights. Rusty's a friend of mine and a heckuva Allison driver.
Oh ............ he won. He beat everybody else so bad he had to pack up and leave before it got rough. The locals didn't appreciate getting beat so bad. Point was made, tho'. When you say you can run anything you bring you'd better mean it.
...times two...
