Thanks for representing. Time for more power.
I wanted to apologize to our member streamteam. During our daily sweep of spammers, we accidentally banned his account. Streamteam did absolutely nothing wrong at all, and it was purely an error on our part.
As most of you probably know, this forum has become a huge target for spammers, and every day we have to clear out a number of them, hopefully before they can activate their accounts. Sometimes we obviously miss some, since the time difference means that they usually activate their accounts and post around 4AM or so.
As careful as we are when doing this, the admin control panel makes it easy to make mistakes, which is why we're very diligent about how this is executed. Nevertheless, a mistake did occurr, and I apologize to streamteam for any confusion this has caused. We will be extra careful to see to it that this does not happen again.
If anybody needs something, please remember you can contact me anytime at my email address by clicking here.
Thank you,
Greg
You're doing fantastic, gonna be an oops occasionally.
Had the boat out last weekend for the first time. Im a newbie for sure. I mentioned on the facebook page that i had some issues with my bilge hole being below the waterline. It has a 200 hanging off the back with hydraulic steering and hydraulic jackplate. Not sure if the sheer weight is the reason why im squatted down so much. Anyway, need to go pick up an auto bilge before taking it out monday and tuesday. Hoping the old bilge pump was just allowing the water to sneak back in.
Other than that, i was wondering why im so slow getting out of the hole. Have hotfoot and i really had to put it down to get the nose down. But once she did dive down, she took off like a rocket. Wondering if its because of the placement of the Jackplate. What would you guys recommend?
Can ya share up afew pics of the rear of the boat.I think that will help cut the guessing game with set up and to try and help with the water problem your haven.

I don't think i moved the jackplate any, so it should be in the same spot. The bilge hole was about 1 inch below surface of water when i was standing in it. I even had my friend move up to the front to see if that would help but it didnt. Even both of us are overweight, it seems like we are not the problem, haha.
Holy smokes! If that is under water that means most of the back of your boat is under water too. That should be under water at all with how high up that is mounted. You have a picture of it in the water?
Not yet, im heading to devils lake tomorrow night. For the record, the splash well didnt have any water over flow into it, nor were the "wings" of the boat sitting below the surface much.
Something must be really heavy back there. The wings shouldnt be under water at all. Is the fuel tank in the back? Could try moving it up front if it is. And or the battey(s) also. There are guys with 200s on little vipers that dont sit that low in the water so that motor and stuff should not be an issue. A 200 on a vking is not uncommon at all.
Maybe someone else has some advice too.
Does the Power tour sell these shirt ?

[QUOTE=rossi;2500229]Does the Power tour sell these shirt ?[QUOTE]
No. These shirts were a gift to all attendees at a power tour stop last year. They were given, as a surprise, by a very thoughtful and generous member. The year before, it was embroidered hats. If you make the trip over, we will be sure to send you home with some cool apparel
Wondering if anyone is going to the Switzer reunion this weekend? If anyone is going, send me a PM. If it works out, I might try to make it this year.
Great Video, memories are made of this.
The Triad is going! Hopping to see a Shouting Star there. Looking to see were some of the lines the Pipkorn Wildcat came from.
My Switzer has been good to me. She deserves a trip to the reunion. I need to try to make it this year.

Is it saturday?
If you ran the pump, and shut it off while the outlet was under water yes it will siphon back into the boat. The hose is full of water, the outlet is under watrer, and the water in the hose "falls", drawing in more water. Doesn't take much water to affect the time to plane - water flows back and makes it even harder as the bow rises. There is a duck bill insert you can install in the hose connection at the pump to help prevent the siphoning. I do agree however you have a weight distribution issue that needs to be corrected. Until that is done, don't run your pump until after your on plane (outlet above waterline to prevent back siphoning).

Man that YT is beautiful!
So are the rest of the boats, but that color scheme, and the gloss is fabulous!
pointer - way out on the east coast :( You guys have noo idea how badly I wish I lived closer!
Thank you for sharing your pictures, and alllowing me to read your comments and bantering. I've been addicted to hydrostreams since I saw my first one, late 70s. I hope you all know how absolutely fabulous it is to see a group of people who do such a class act of enjoying thier boats, friends and time together. You are truly fortunate.
Pointer,
Thanks alot buddy for the props....Sorry that you live such a long ways from us..The stops that the Power Tour makes are always the funnest times ive ever had around water..The people that take the time to build these boats and run them with us are the best guys you could ask to burn with in a day..I give many Thanks to Gregg,Janna,Mark, JJ,Chris for maken this all happen:thumbsup:
Mercury mariner idk????
maybe from space
Thanks for the Advice guys. Friday i installed a new auto bilge by Attwood. 500 gph. Tested it and it shot out like a snot rocket, so i felt comfortable with my install and decided to take it out. I did notice the hose was ran a little goofy, so i looped it nice and high inside so it would stay above waterline. We took a picture of it in the water, and it definitely sits higher than it did before, but my splash well hole and bilge hole still sits under the water line by a hair. But it was really comforting removing the plug and only a couple of ounces of water coming out.....
Just hope im not covering up a bigger problem.
