Tricks that old racers get up to after retirement

Discarded the copper pipes but did make the granddaddy of all gearcases, straight out of Science Magazine----Gave it a four mill prop shaft and a 1:1/4" quickie mid section!
Oh yeah, I forgot to tell you------I took the outboard road !
This is a big bastard-------- Meanest, bad---assed clamp -on you ever saw in your life-------it's going to have to live on a stand for a while, until I can come up with an outstanding boat-----think I might call it "LIL----REB" -------even if it's just to piss off Butler!

Will start all over again on the Mitch Lembske V12 Sidewinder-------the week hasn't been totally wasted but I'm afraid I took time out and went down a different road, was a hell of an adventure though. Post you a piccie of the motor tomorrow , was going to say I hope you like it, but honest to Murgatroyd , most of the old farts will wet their knickers over this one.
Got to construct a half decent polished steering bar------once you got a good thing going, the only way is up and better.
Was way too busy to get much waffling done today----I have the next two days in the shop full time, Boss Lady is visiting grand kids who are in carol concerts, nativity plays and all that sort of stuff. MYGGWY . J.

Saturday morning and heavy rain ( again)------due at the recycling plant, heard on the vine they had some exciting bits of metal I could be interested in. Tell you you if it's any good.
Hope to get the "ROTORY" ready enough to take a Phoggie or three-------Bet R/J has something to say 'bout it------really looking forward to getting out and about today------exciting times ahead!

Well, sorry ' bout your bad luck folks, no phoggies today------beavered away like a demented Gippetto, all to no avail-------when you got twelve of everything, it takes a hell of a lot longer than if there were two four, six or even eight. Maybe I'll learn better next time.
Twelve pipes a playing must make one hell of a "Cocophony" ------all will be revealed in the next few days.
Interesting fly wheel assembly, but I'm still struggling with the injection pipes!
Just to give myself a break, I spun up the block for the Lembske V12--------- yeah, I know, I'm a glutton for punishment.
I'm in for dinner now-----give you a bell later!

Wouldn't you know-----like the road to hell------I'm full of "Good Intentions", was meaning to just sit up in bed and narrate the day's proceedings, but I was pooped and the eyelids drooped, I was away with the fairies before the iPad was even warmed up.
Thought when the cats away, us meeces were supposed to play, or something like that! Had my proboscis to the grinder since first light!
Last full day before Wonder Woman gets back from her Christmas family tour, had beans on toast for dinner last night followed by a micro waved custard tart from M&S!
Not exactly Heston Bluementall Gourmet Fine Dining-----but she's back tonight ------Monday promises better fodder!

Things were tough this morning, kept changing my mind and leaping about all over the hog market!
Threw out the mid section-------didn't feel right--------new one is definitely an academy award winner-------cav plate and mid section rolled into one. Cool dude I tell you!
Finished the fly wheel assembly-----polished and balanced, connected to the power head , head connected to the mid section, middy connected to the gear case !!!! Now Hear the Word of the Lord, we are cooking with gas!
Done four of the twelve exhaust stacks !!!! OUTSTANDING !!!!!

Jackie, no luck today at the toy fair.. several 6 cyl motors but no V12's sorry.

Made up my mind, I'm going to make my own version of a V12 Jag, love it or hate it, at least I did it.
Will be journeying down into LEMBSKE COUNTY, sometime late tomorrow!
Went down outboard alley last week----got involved with a shapely piece and dallied longer than was normal.
Takes longer to reach the climax than it used to ------if you know what I mean?

Catalogue arrived safe and sound------ same address as I went to, which is difficult to believe------maybe I was wearing blinkers that day?

Took a hell of a lot longer to just get this far than was first envisaged, .
I got a tad eager and excited and buggered up four of the exhaust pipes!
Also bent a couple of the intakes outa shape-----nonetheless progress was made, not as much as I hoped, but at least I woke up this morning yet again, that's a bonus !
Spent damn near thirty hours on this thing -----with a definite six more still to come------look at it this way-------what else would I be doing?
I swear my leprechauns are back, they steal my tools and hide them, spend half my life searching for something I had in my hand just a minute ago------then it turns up, but no way is that where I put it.
Tuesday I'm away down Lembske Boulevard, got distracted for far too long, should be turnpike all the way.
Now have to Cook my own dinner ! Steak and kidney pie with a jug of gravy, don't you just hate dry S&K !

Picked up up this stainless mount at the scrap yard Saturday morning, must go 25 lbs, it's half inch thick but fits the MALIBUSTANG perfectly-------maybe I'll get a chance to finish the job once and for all---------even got the material for the vapour trail.
Already started the next project--------I get bogged down sometimes and have to change tack to stop me chucking the whole shebang in the bin!
Some might call it a "case for concern"-------round the twist-----off his trolley --------mad as a March hare, or just plain Doo Lalley.

Seem to need more zuzz time than ever------see if I can do better tomorrow, MYGGWY .J.

Day has not exactly turned to worms-------just been interfered with a little, if you get my meaning.
Still, these things have to be faced, procrastination must not be allowed. Notice I got my serious face on today------need all my wits about me, face to face with the lawyer.
