Once in place .. you should look in the mounting holes and see just the spring bridging the hole.
Stick the 1/4 turn button in the hole .. click, locked in place.

When mounting fiberglass of carbon, it's a good idea to use "panel doubler" plates to keep from wallerin out the holes ..

Since everybody is flush, up against each other a hammer (bucking) rivet will smoosh flat taking up little to no room .. :thumbsup:
