not yet didnt even go to the water last time home, but going this time home after i get back from bristol. going to get #'s with the 2.4 150 and then doing a motor swap. bought a 2.5 200hp mariner magnum efi to hang on it. then gotta find another prop.
and have to install nose cone w/low water pickup before i can run it

a good friend of mine has a performance boat shop and does most of the work on my toys. he put the nose cone w/low water pickup on my 2.4 150 when it was on my vector and did a really good job. going to have him do this one to. thanks

Anybody know the original angle to mount your steering wheel on an hst?
I saw that sow hat a sort of the spacer/angle on their HST's.
I have a fibreglass spacer that i can cut in the angle i want... I already cutted it but I think it's too much know...
Dont want to have my steering wheel in the sky either...
So I anyone could go out and measure? This could be Real helpful!

Steve? How is the 225 promax running? Can you compare it with the 300?
Twogees: have you done some upgrades to your boat? Tested some props etc? Saw any higher top speed?

The boat rides and drives alot better with the 2,5. taking the weight difference of 100 pounds off the back makes it get on plane faster and gets on the pad alot easier. we saw 92.5 on the gps. Its just not as powerful for acceleration as the 300 was,wich is my favorite part so its comming apart today and Charlie is going to work his magic on it and see if we can change that.
I got my o/s cowl buffed out and painted the mid yesterday. I'm just waiting on the gaskets to change everything over.
I wonder what speed you saw at the end with your 300. It did 90mph before you had a hydraulic lift and without a lwp. So I wonder if you gained a lot of speed by using a lift?Quote:
