...Dave Albert (Sarasota's Myco Trailers owner) owned & raced a 1980 32' Excalibur with triple consumer 225 Merc O/B's, named "Speedy Doris" in Pro Stock Class, in 1980. In 1981, he raced the same boat, after renaming it "Can Do". He won the World Championship in the boat. He died May of 1982 in Stuart Florida, along with an employee of his that worked for him at Myco, Chris Smith...While testing his new Open Class boat, a WellCraft Scarab 38' outboard, which was also named Can Do, powered by triple 450 h.p. JohnRude V-8's, when it barrel-rolled on them, going about 90 mph.
