I'm also curious to see how it sits in the back at rest.

I believe the trim paddle is uflex
Absolutely the slickest 28 in the world today. I'm concered that dash will require an Instument rating, and will be changed soon.
Wow, the bar just keeps getting raised. Great job.
"Supercalifragilisticexpialidocious"
Attachment 366175
The Oxford English Dictionary estimates that the word "supercalifragilisticexpialidocious" was first attested in the 1940s.[2] The roots of the word have been defined[3] as follows: super- "above", cali- "beauty", fragilistic- "delicate", expiali- "to atone", and -docious "educable", with the sum of these parts signifying roughly "Atoning for educability through delicate beauty." According to the film, in which the word gained its popularity, it is defined as "something to say when you have nothing to say". However, it is commonly defined as "extraordinarily good" or "wonderful" as all references to the word in the film can be perceived as positive. Dictionary.com also notes that the word is "used as a nonsense word by children to express approval or to represent the longest word in English."[4]
Any insight on what the name means? "Another One"? 21?
I put the name on the boat for the owner. All of his boats have been named, "Another One" this was the 21st.
Awesome and very slick looking rig with fantastic rigging, attention to details and finish work!!
Not to rain on the parade but the pic with Grant in the boat i hope he is on his knees and not sitting in the seat???????
Center of the Dash looks very nigh too. Boat is very nice!!
Need some in water and/or running pics
--I had my video camera and my Nikon and didn't use either while we were out running it "we were both just giddy" -you couldn't have gotten our smiles off with a puddy knife!!

--The boat sits low in the rear due to the shape of the deck being cut down. We were backing off of the trailer into 6" - 8" wind chop and it was splashing water up onto the rear deck. It won't be an issue unless you were going to try and back into a 2 foot sea. All of the positives totally outweigh any of the small changes that will be made.

--you can see that neither of the starboard seats were mounted in that picture but the windshield will not be effective for tall guys set up as it is on this one. I think that we will have to change the receiver and bump it up about 5 degrees for the future ones. However both Dan and I were fine (little guys)

This boat is going to surprise a lot of smaller boats on the river--
I thought the same thing but I am 5'9" and it wasn't a problem with visibility. I would like to see a GPS up top and the data screen down in the angled area of the console for my personal taste. I will also work on extending the console to utilize standard throttles and shifters between the seats. Dan wanted a In-control split foot throttle.

One of the nicest outboard boats I have seen. Really sharp. Word of caution on using Velcro seat belts in an open cockpit boat. Having owned very fast open and canopy boats, the only boats that should have seat belts are full canopy boats. The safest thing you can do is wear a quality life jacket (Lifeline).
I've owned/raced both open cockpit and canopy boats, and would have to disagree. Both Rik and I had not a single injury after going over in my Skater in '06, due to Velcro lap belts keeping us within the safer confines of our seats when the boat actually went upside down - as well as wearing Mustang Survival auto-inflate jackets. The highest speed logged in Rik's GPS was 126 at the start of the Poker Run, which is when we went over, so you can't say it was just a low speed rollover. But safety systems are, and always will be, argued over nonstop. You've got to just go with what you feel most comfortable with. I respect your opinion and knowledge Brad, my experience just differs from yours on this point.
I talked to Dan this morning, and his 28 will be loaded in a stealth container for the trip West. Being the only one in existence right now, he knows there's a pretty high bounty on it's dash, and doesn't trust it will make it to him if somebody sees it on the road. ;) If only the rains will stop long enough for him to get it on the water when it get's here, he will be doing good. I'm looking forward to getting out in it, even if it means I have to be the guy getting in the water for prop changes/testing. :( :D
