They the vents are being power coated by a shop to match either the black on the bottom or the white on the top. If you saw them in person they look alot better. Actually they make the boat alot safer the rear engine compartment where the gas tank sits will have constant ventilation. I can assure you as far as thier placement they are never near the water. Please understand this is not the boat if you are going out in the Great South Bay but it is a good morning lake boat. I can assure you before that boat hits the water I will post pics and you can decide then.As far as passengers you very rarely get them and never in the back.

21 argo is the fastest 21 offshore v hull i know!!

I think a Frodé 21/Merc XR2 set a world record in the 2 litre class a couple of years back. They are now successful in the V-150 class (Z) that is very popular in Scandinavia nowadays.

For the most part our interests are in outboard boats, anyone can hit nitrous on a big truck motor and go 100+. We look at who can do that with a single outboard.

The Tuff with a 300 xs went 106 mph and still gaining

Yup and that is documented here as well, the Tuff's are some of the finest boats on the market. I am long from having the means to get one but I sure hope to see some show up south of the border.
