Last conservation with Glen Stevenson was concerning insurance costs thru APBA for both EP runabout and Drag. There wasn't any problem with CBF.
Glen feels the same as the rest of us that there should not be an extra premium for our class. The Drag boats would certainly require the added coverage. The added insurance would cover Stock Outboard to include classes like SST 60, the new Fat C [Ron Hill Class], Sport C and maybe F1.
I am sure the insurance folks will reply ASAP and Glen will advise us. It is worth the time now to look at costs. We want to take small steps here and establish the classes as needed. EP runabout is good to go. We only need to
follow the same rules as Stock Outboard for race starts and make some minor adjustments. Drag needs to look at major items such as classes, rules, course length, timing, special requirements. That is alot of work for the boys in that group.
