I am also very surprised about the TXP was so good, next step is to look for a 27 TXP.
I am also very surprised that the Furys and the Trophy 28" was a totally disappointment. I have read a lot about the "lovestory" between Trophy 28 and V22 here on S&F.
Last week I won a bid on EBay regarding a 27 Trophy B&B by Jay Martin High Performance. Maybe I will see 80 then???
I also had a quick propride, look at the rooster who goes down and rises up again. I was pretty close to changing underwear after that momont.

The Bravo 26" is about 1-2" below pad and the Turbo TXP is nearly equal pad. (hope you understand my bad english)
They also say that the Turbo needs e little more lift because of itīs little bigger size. The Turbo is a little harder to find rev on but you get it back with a little more lift.
My propride above was when I drove a 28" trophy with the lift egual the pad but you can do very easily with the Turbo.

thanks for the info Patrik i have a 2.4 liter efi with a 2/1 gear case my boat runs 76 light on gas but mostly 74 all day long with 2 people and a full tank 61 gal. and i use the 25 trophy im just about 3/4 of an inch below the bottom pad but in the rough water she handles great im gonna raise her up to see what kind of speed ill get next. went on line and looked at the turbo txp 26 nice prop and not a bad price either but for now its the trophy check out my flyby on the river http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=pS0BD6cNy9Q

Anyone notice if any props porpoise less then others.I run my 25 trophy and feel it porpaoise more then id like.I do have trim tabs.Im just wonderin if a larger diamater prop or maybe a 3 blade may lessin the porpois.Ive talke to DAH and he says he can help that out as well as help it carry the boat higher.Whats your take on this.Thanks Aaron
When the water is flat mine dose it but with just a little chop its gone. Seems to do it with all props I have used and at all engine heights and trim angles. Adjustments just seem to either speed up or slow down the oscillation. If I run over 80 and air it out then its gone or slow down to about 50 or under.
I have a similar problem with porpoising with my laser 2, trophy plus and trophy props. It's my understanding that velocity hulls are designed (with the reverse chines...etc) to create lift at the stern and trim angles (and props) that create bow lift may cause opposing reaction...so adjusting engine height and trim angles works for me.
What ive been doing so far is just running the motor neutral and trims tabs down till im over 50.Im wonderin if there any fixes to this,it absolutely drives me nuts.
Hi guys, could you guys help me out and tell me what prop should I get? I know my lower is a 1:75 with no LWPU, my current prop is a 3 blades 21P exhaust through cleaver. best so far 69.7 at the rev limiter (6900). should I get 3 or 4 blades. I think it should be in the 27P to 28P ball park. Please advise.
