http://cobraboats.com/ 100mph 2 outboards
That and the talon / hustler t-25 carrier center console
I saw a guy yesterday in a triple 350 verado fountain center console running down the state channel. I ran along side him and clocked him at 75mph.
27 kryptonite with a pair of 225 promax's. ran 86 mph

Can't believe Cobra boats is still in operation. Are they still in Egg Harbor, NJ? I bet that little 21 would make a great bass/flats boat.
Matthew Caldwell's Yellowfin will tote the mail with the best of them. Not sure how fast but its over 85. They are awesome boats and are true fishing boats. Not a lightened lay up just for riding.

Interesting looking. Is that a cabin up front?

Yup, seen it about 5 years ago when it was built. Those are old photos of, I think, only one boat that was made as a CC.

What do you guys think of Concept CCs?? I like their styling.
Nice boat. Basically, the layout (at least of the 36) is the same as my Scarab. I drove AJ's Lucky Strike 36 (which is for sale :D) back in late April during the worst conditions most can remember in Lake Havasu. Had 9 people in the boat and it ate up the 4-5 footers in the lake.
I know of a 29 Kryptonite CC with 225s running 80.
Several Kryptonite CC 27's/29's twin OB running over 80! How about a custom 29 CC with procharged 522 ci tickling 100mph!
Eliminator built a 40' cat with Yanmar 485/Arneson 8 powertrain. I think it's Bob's personal boat.
Theres an older(but nice) 30' Chris Cat CC on www.YachtTrader.com at the moment, which is what Jack Clark of Jaguar derived the 35' from.
2007 Concept 326 w/300XS 72.7MPH
i have one of those rare center console scarab 26's with 2 150's and it does 55mph, so imagin 250's..
Over on THT, Propbenders 38 Fountain with quad 300 Optis is running 85mph turning bravo ones. Homesites 38 Fountain with quad 350 Verados ran 82 or 83mph but he has never been abe to back it with a pic of his GPS. His claims to even higher speeds are "suspect" to say the least. Those are probably the fastest big CC's with factory power and layup.
If anyone has a faster CC, Homesite has been challenging anyone to a race over on THT. Although his boat isnt as fast as Propbenders, it is extremely quick. The thread is probably 20-30 pages deep at this point...
What do you guys/gals think about the Superboat 30cc.....extremely light, narrow beam, 24 deg dead rise......I'm sure its fast!
Live in S FL. Have seen the 38 Fountain with quad 350HP motors. Runs very fast in the 80's. Not set up for top end.
Fountains are the fastest hands down with Invincible being a close second. Personally own a 34' Fountain with triple 350 Verados runs honest 82. The guy with the avance or whatever it is at 93mph?????. Bring it on. We have never been beat. Any one of you guys can google the Grove Slam in Miami. It is a fishing tournament that has a boat race for anyone who wants to show up. A 38 Fountain won with 4 300xs optis. Homeslice boat was also very fast but went into gaurdian mode because of water pressure. Fountain also has a documented run with a 38 w/4 300xs opti's at 87.9mph.
We are currently getting ready to sell it if you are interested.
You can PM. Will sell with or without power. Any doubt about our boat ask Max200. He went for a ride
didnt Deep Impact make a 36 with quad 350 verados that ran 82 or 84mph hard top and all...
I wish Skater would build a 36ft Center Console cat with triple 300XS just to silence all of the THT noise about who is faster. It would set a bar that would be untouchable.
Jaguar makes a 35 CC cat
Jaguar is about out of business. Have a customer who has been waiting for his boat for over a year.
Stay tuned you may just see a Skater 36 center console oneday. Have already been talking to Peter.
Deep Impact had a boat at the Grove Slam race also. Could not hang with the Fountains. Only the Invincible.
By the way CC Fans. Invincible will have a quad 350hp verado 42' at the Miami boat show. Boat is supposed to run 85 or more. Invincible boats hull was designed by Michael Peters.
I have a 30' CC in production now that should kick some butt. My full deck 30's with twin 225's run 82-84. And that is with the old bottom. The newer redesigned bottom is faster by 3-5 MPH. The full deck model weighs in at around 2500 lbs. The 30' center console weighs around 1800 LBS. ( 700 lbs. lighter) and will be rigged with 250 Mercs. This boat will also be getting the sitdown Millenium console as opposed to the tall standup console. Rigging and dialing in will be done by Accurate Marine. With the 700 lb. weight saving and the 50 extra HP, this boat will do easily 85. We're hoping to beat Fountains Documented speed of 87.6 (not 87.9) with nothing more then 2 250's. April is dialing in time. I'll keep you posted.
Here are a few pictures of the 30 CC with a single 300 Suzuki, which pushes it in the upper 60's.

Rick,
If you look back a few post... I tried to sell the Superboat 30cc, but no one replied! You have some amazing boats, and everyone who owns one should be proud to say they own one of the best boats in this country!
stubbie1111
They will all see in the spring.
Stubbie, did you start restoring your boat yet?
What are the specs on the beam for the 30' Superboat. Also from the pictures not quite 38' feet long and lacking a lot of fishing team related elements like live wells, hardtop, rod holders fish boxes etc....
I am sure if Reggie built a light fish boat for pleasure boating and not fishing the numbers would be higher.
Everyone needs to keep in mind CC boats run in the ocean not in inland waterways and always fully loaded when fishing tournaments.
i would like to see them bring the Superboat down to the Grove Slam Race in Miami in the spring. All the big boys will be there. Last Year the seas were 4-6.
See you there.
my buddy gus runs a 38 fountain and fishes the ska with it has a pair of 300xs and runs hard in the rough stuff mid 70's tournament loaded. boats black and say lighthouse boat center on the side!
I find that hard to believe. Theres a guy around here with a 38 Fountain CC with trip 350 Verado's. Tops out at 75. Helm has clocked it on GPS, running light.
And the one your talking about does the same speed with the same boat, fully loaded for fishing with 450 less HP. I have to put my hip boots on, it's getting deep in here.
Double Rigged,
The beam on the 30 CC is 7'4". As for lacking a lot of fishing team related elements like live wells, hardtop, rod holders fish boxex etc....
The 30 has a HUGE fish box (8' long X 34"W X 17" H ) in front of the console. That should hold a few fish. The hull comes standard w/ 6 rod holders in the gunnel. And depending on the model leaning post you want in your boat. You could add another 6, plus the live well. Also, the hard top is no big deal as far as weight goes. The boat will still kick ass.
Our 30' hulls have been proving themselfs for over 30 years. As a matter of fact the 2007, 2008 and 2009 P5 World Champion Is Specialised Racing. A 30 foot Superboat. Due to the narrow beam, this hull can handle some pretty rough water. And yes it can run fast in 4-6 footers.

Not trying to knock the Superboat. One of my best friends has a 21. Awesome little boat. Just saying that I have fished a lot of years and 7.4' Beam and a low freeboard does not cut it. I know the boats are fast but I have run every boat under the sun in the last few years and have a hard time believing that boat will run with 34' to 38' boats in the slop. If you want to make a statement regarding your fish boat I suggest you bring one down the Grove Slam race in May 2010. You will get a lot press on all the fishing websites good or bad depending on how it runs. As for the guy with the 38 Fountain running mid 70's if it does not have triples there is no way it goes that fast.....
My Fountain full tournament load runs 75mph and will touch 80mph any day of the week with Moderate load with triple 350hp verados. Good luck with the new model. Look forward to seeing some down here.
Foutain does not rig a 38 with twins. He must mean triples.
Stubbie, Sorry to offend you. Not my intention nor am I talking trash. Never seen one of the those boats down here sorry.
