Wow, I remember you posting when he had the 15 whaler, then the STV. He moves up quick!
Be careful, those are some incredible speeds!
Congrats Kory and Joe, a dream come true! as I'm the father of a 20yr old myself.
I hope to meet you at LOTO someday!
Please tell us a little about the boat engine/engines.
It has some bottom mods and 12 Inch Porta Plates .It is funny how all single engine boats need them but twin engine guys will not go for them.I had them on my 28 Fat Cat DW RJR etc.and they will be on my new DW .It saves so much time when testing props alone .
Is it a capsule boat? I'm guessing no, but thought I'd ask.
Just a normal Wright/Performance 36' with some bottom updates, lots of engine height, some decent propellers, and really good wheel man. Cruising in the poker run at the 7:05 mark https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CEBil7annLA
Saturday pass at the 5:17 mark https://www.facebook.com/mix927/vide...7065420857259/ We picked up 5 mph with better propellers on Sunday and ran a 128. On Saturdays pass, we crossed the start line at 13 mph as seen in the video (they allow a 30 mph roll) so we left a good bit on the table for sure.

Damn that's gorgeous!!! I just kinda' glanced at the classes...where would a 28-32' Hydro with twin V8 outboards fit in?
Call Ron Dugan at Capt. Rons Bar and Grill and he will tell you what class you fall under. You can see that there a ton of classes; we were put in NCO40C2 https://shootoutresults.com/classtop.php

Have you seen anyone run a big hydro at the shoot out?
No, but call Ron and talk to him. He is a great guy and its a super fun week to be part of.
