Who's ragging on him?
He bought the rights, he's branding some parts, hopefully it creates some kind of comeback, but with out power options that is not likely.

I was referring to comments made on fb is all. I can appreciate the junky aspect none of us want cheap crap but he seems focused on good quality stuff. Building new is probably bonkers as you say motorboatin there is no good new power options for these antiques
I sure wish someone would cough up a mint one with or without a 2.5. I'm listening. RR
I think people may be down on him because when he first got going he bought the trademark and .com, but then only had shirts, stickers, and pool noodles as "bumpers" for sale. People want to see new hulls coming out in sweet 70's metal flake, even as unlikely as that is, or the fact that 99% of people complaining about that won't buy one, myself included.
If he can compile parts and whatnot to help with a rebuild, great. Like he said in the video, be the Classic Industries for Hydrostreams. That type of place doesn't really exist for boats, let alone 40 year old boats.
the guy who has the site bought the best one ive seen come up for sale a year or so back and thats the one he wants to model resto kits after. I was thinking about this idea he has and there is a real sweet spot because the coosa is the most expensive product in a wood free layup. In order to restore a hull you end up with a lot of leftover and wasted off cuts. By making kits he will be able to reduce waste and save money which might make buying a kit cheaper for his customers than buying raw materials and going at it yourself. If he can make that happen who wouldnt buy a pre cut kit? A lot of work already done for you and save a few bucks? No brainer
Jeff had Howard sign his boat then I think he clear coated over the autograph. I can see how they might help keep the bow down.

Hole shot, slow running porposing, and turning he said where they would help. Obviously nothing at speed as they are far above any water!
He signed my viper but I did not clear over it and it has faded some. I never had a chance to get him to sign my Vking before he passed. Wish he was still around for sure! He would call every so often to give me chit out of the blue! It was funny when I first met him, he always took a picture of you when he put your number in his phone! Must have had it in his phone so he would remember who you were when you called or he called you.

If I were a rich man, wouldn't it be cool to get a new cnc plug of a 24' Vector and an HST. Build molds then build carbon fiber hulls and mount 3oo to 450R on them.
I loved my Vector but man the mold it came from wasn't the smoothest thing.
Anything this guy can do to help us out is ok in my book.
