That is a really nice run. I done it several years ago. I may have to do it again this year.

Can anyone comment on how far the sand bar is from the ramp? I've read there's no gas on the way to Chattanooga, correct? And 87 only? Thanks.

Correct, there is only 87 in Chattanooga. The ride to Chattanooga is about 80 miles round trip so to the sand bar would be maybe 5-10 less

I hope I can make it next yr with a worthy rig to keep up! Got motor just not the hull , since it's only 2 hrs from me, maybe I'll be able cobble something together. I'd like to meet alot ov you guys! Yall have fun and post lots lots lots of pics!! Very jealous. Weather here should be about perfect (if rain stays out) for the run!

Does anybody know what the plan is for the Thursday river run? I see that the put in places the South Pittsburg municipal park wondering what time and if there is a particular lunch destination?

This was such a great group of rides. The weather was perfect, (a bit of wind, but could have been much worse), great people, and a lot of boats. I am looking forward to doing it again next year for sure. These are a few that I took with my phone.
