Ha, you forgot to mention the flux capacitor.

What he said, it also makes the lower unit completely drag free and blowout proof. Sometimes negative drag can be achieved which will result in positive slip numbers. This coupled with push button shift on the fly infinite gear ratio selectability should make all props that aren't 24 pitch obsolete.
You will need a separate tuner for each motor.
Next 2 strokes from merc will be made from dark matter. They will be there, but we can't see them. (without special glasses)They will operate inside the in-between spaces of the 4 strokes. No one knows their limitations yet. They may have none.......
I'm gonna wait for a 4 stroke that I can bolt some bitchin headers on.
your behind the times. Soon all stroking will be eliminated, pure solid state energy fused directly to your transom no bolts, no wires, no fuel, all Bluetooth controlled thru the cloud direct from your phone, heads yup display thru Google glasses will eliminate the steering wheel as well.
Rumor also has it the new headers that are in the works add thrust similar to the KERS device in formula one racing. More amaze balls tech
Does anyone know if the 300 R is even available to the general public? I am looking to replace the two e-tecs on my cat. I figure the money I will save on synthetic 2 stroke oil will pay the payment. My local Mercury dealer here in Michigan is not able to get me any info on availability. The Racing deptment will not pick up the phone, let alone return their messages.
I’m pretty sure they are available, just a very large lead time.
long live the 2 stroke if they make parts we can build them ,no 4 choke for me i dont care what it is i would not buy one anyway even if i could afford one there is no sound like a 2.5 at mid or full song period
You should probably call a High Performance dealer or at least one that is willing to log into the Mercury portal and read what's published. It's not rocket science but apparently beyond what you dealer is willing to do. Pretty sad when a public Internet forum can provide more info that a dealer with access to all the proprietary information.
IMO yes their will be a 350r 450r n/a. mercury will not make the same mistake twice putting supercharger on this v8 like the did the verado. It's opens the door for anyone to flash ecm for more power something mercury has no control over. A verado 200hp flash to 325hp a 400r flash to 455hp. Mercury will control the hp gains in this v8 with good old proven technique bore, stroke ,cams, intake design. So no v10 also why because its cheaper to add higher compression pistons to get 50hp on 90 octane
