I have livorsi, I do not like them at all.
Faded pointer, some fogging on the face at times and the face has started to crack. They are the mega race style.
I have talked to them about it, Marty was nice but said yes they have had some problems with the plastic fading and cracking.
I will be replacing with something else
It looks like all of the Livorsi gauges have orange needles which I will not do again.
Autometer rep told me they have never heard of this needle problem and I told him that complete bull****. He said they have had a set sitting in their office window in direct sunlight for year with zero fade. I asked him why they were doing that if they never had a problem and let him know there building has UV glass windows. :D
My Livorsi gauges have black needles, chrome bezels and white faces.
Personally, I’m a big fan of Livorsi. Both the products and the customer service.
Got 3 sets of nice gauges and 2 fancy throttle/shift controls. So I spent some money with them. Called with a warr. issue with the anodize finish on the controls and got shut down. So, still good stuff but could be better imo.
Garmin solves all of these issues with NEMA. Plug and play is so easy and accurate input from the e.c.u. is much more comforting at speed. I don't think that I will have another mechanical gauge in the boats that I am updating (other then trim indicators).

Looks like you have a moisture/ventilation problem in that console. I suggest to install some vents for cross ventilation.
If you have some electrical equipment like battery charger, stereo amp etc in a tight sealed area it will create heat.....MPO
I have been using Autometer for years without an issue like that.
Have had zero issues with my Livorsi gauges. Had to replace the connector on the water pressure gauge (my problem) and Livorsi sent a free replacement within 2 weeks. Excellent customer service.

Livorsi has a tremendous reputation, and Autometer do as well. Faria are great gauges too, and you can find great deals on them as well. Hardin are nice, priced well and have that custom look, custom bezels etc.

You bought those new? They've never been apart? Just have Autometer or the dealer replace or repair them, they have a 12 month warranty.Quote:
