They are not just any ls engines either. I have seen photos and they are bad ass power plants built by a very specialized race shop. I can't wait to see how it runs.

Very cool! The LS/Bravo set up has been great in my 24 Skater. I thought a 28 would be fun, but the 306 is better!
Armand, Thanks for the update !!! Really looking forward to the LS installation. I think it's a great combination !!
Looking good!
I am looking forward to photos of you putting those bad ass looking LS Engines into position. Nice boat, should be a lot of fun.
Its not rocket science. After setting up a few hundred Bravo's as new installations, and all they're aftermarket variants, I have an idea. What you might think is top secret, is not. There are so many different variables that come into play when deciding an initial X-demension, that they usually don't apply to anyone elses boat, and that can even include a simular boat, out of the same mold. Every boat is rigged a bit different, depending on the customers use & needs, even with the same power & drives. The X-demension you go with, will not apply to someone elses cat, due to strake placement, thru-hulls, transom angle, fuel and/or water tank placements and capacities, payload(s), prop rotations, prop types/sizes, hull lift, intended speeds, hull weight, etc., just to name a few. Your X certainly does not tranfer to a V-hull, or any other boat. So...for "some" of these reasons I mention, its really not that important that we know. Just thought I'd ask. (P.S...Good luck & have fun with the build.)
It just was yoke, sorry for that :) and didnt remember exactly so just checked it Im at 23 5/6 ,I have asked a lot guys but no real answers any where so I wanted to start high as possible because you always can come down but this is the highest as I could go on the transom otherwise I started 1-1.5 " higher and just have gone testing whit spacers and see what happen . I m now even whit the bottom whit standard length lowers and have a set -2" so I should swap to -3 imco s if I still want to try that
Sounds good. Sometimes exhaust exits & transom & deck height become an issue too. Not to mention...I'm out of room!...Where the heck am I going to mount this steering & tabs??? lol...
ha ha same here ! I thought we had enough room for engines and drives after calculating .... and drawing sketches how high we should raise the deck but ....not !
But like you say it s all different and this is the first i/o beside the one Amt build but we asked for some info there but they would not give that so I m making my own plan and see what happend on this hight ,first stock lowers and 4 and 5 blade props and then whit the -2" lowers and same props and making notes ,also have a set 1" spacers to put in the test sessions .
but first we have to finish her as I don t have limited funds and spare time it will take a while but will be fun to see what and how it will perform
Thx !
Mine are 1 1/2" above the bottom and I think another 1/2 up would be better.
