If your going to do this,Do it right and do it safe.Spend the money and buy a 24 volt aircraft solinoid.If not,you run the risk of the solinoid welding the contacts,on the way up!! Trust me you don't need that.

If I remember correctly it's about 70. I wouldn't go lower than 100-115 for a trim batteryQuote:

I don't really need 24v up... I'm rewiring stuff and had the trim pump on a 50A breaker but didn't get chance to try it under load, so thanks for the heads up.
