You are correct in that most all pad bottom vee hulls - driven at the limit - are right on the edge. From personal experience though, I'll say that the thing that's different about Progression hulls is that they run well in snot (as you've seen in my pics), ride decently and most importantly, they last. Mine's a 1992 and the very first vacuum bagged 22 they ever built. Just look at the pic and see what kind of shape it's still in.Quote:

The 2019 Hallet 210 build is coming along out West. This hull design has slammed through rough water for over 25 years with I/O power. Now rigged with a Mercury 450 and pushing a full 8' beam it will be interesting to see what speed Nordic can get it to out of the box.
