Bet not many of you out there know what kind of boat that is?

"COSWORTH" on its first ever public outing, created quite a stir, loved by many, objected to by quite a few. I had Charlie Sheppard on my side------nobody argued with him at Bristol, neither Mercury or OMC.
I even have trouble today convincing folk--------"it's a bloody outboard"------ it met every rule in the UIM handbook !

Thats the last 2liter COSWORTH/Hodges I ran, sold it to John Nicholson, first boat ever to sport a fully adjustable wing on the front. Never did fathom out how to use the damn thing, or if it ever made a difference. My opinion was we needed another ten mph to get it effective.
Had a hectic three days, but back to mundane normality. Joined up with another old friend of mine, Nigel Warnes, he decided we should visit Winston Churchill's house----CHARTWELL----on a boys day out! Was like stepping back in time, have to tell you, it's not too shabby,80 acres of lawns .lakes and gardens, its a five mile walk within the grounds.
Left the other two and headed home at 6 am, Reed was making Smirnoff mean martinis and I was in no fit state to drive home, long long time since I had a boys day out, gotta do it again soon! All work and no play don'tcha know ?
Have a few private messages to write up.

Thats my my son Mark, Been a close friend of Billy for nearly forty years. He always jokes that he could have been famous if it hadn't been for Seebold------he finished second to him four or five times in Bristol--------the pair of them teamed up on a number of occasions.
If only Billy could play golf as well as he drove a tunnel! Still , he talks a good game, I made a special trophy for him for the 2015 Off golf tournament-----it's on it's way.
Daughter Sam is taking me to Goodwood for lunch and then nine holes on the "Downs" course, great to have kids once in a while !

Looks more like a Havasu start line than an old farts workbench, most of those have been despatched to the USA.

Managed to to pull the walnut wing out of hibernation, trying different mounts-----anything to make it look presentable and different from all the others. Seem to have gotten bogged down a bit, think this is a nice enough piece that the complexity of the mount won't detract from what I'm trying to achieve. Worked on it for about four hours Saturday morning before Sam picked me up for a round of golf at Goodwood on the Downs course! (One of the world's top golf courses)

Sorry 'bout that, piccie should have been in last box but it somehow got suspended in cyber space and topped up her Eyes!
