Mercury's website states that the R drive skegs are canted in the opposite direction from propeller rotation. Why wouldn't they do that for all of their models?Quote:

The cones didn't last in bravos at 5K with 3 blade propellers grabbing on re-entry, why would anyone expect them to live at 6500 with larger diameter 5 blades grabbing more violently and harder on today's supercharged outboards. I have no issue with the DTS system, its very simple and smooth to operate from a drivers aspect. I hope they continue to improve the actuators.
