As an Merc OEM Field Product Engineer up 'till late 2005, I was one of the lucky ones that got to do some Vaser installs at OEM's. When the paclage was suggested, we all got to put our thoughts on paper - guess what? Stillwater didn't use any of them. Things like one fluid for trim and power steering, a package that installed like an outboard, engine and drive as a drop in over a transom cutout, hell, I don't remember them all, what did we get - none of them. Was in Stagnetwater to test a prototype, couldn't outrun a 90 hp OB, 4 us us mostly outboard OEM guys were in the boat, and we broke the power trim, or boy, did they point fingers that day!Quote:
