...yup, that works. i used to supply my guys(carpenters) with 1/8'' lauan mahogany, which were $6-7 bucks a sheet for templates & ripping strips of, on a tablesaw, to make templates with. they were the doorskins for interior doors. don't know what they sell for these days. probably double that now.Quote:

When I started gutting my daughters 14' Royalcraft the core I pulled up was 1/8" pegboard. I started grinding and could not figure out what all these little round fiberglass cylinders were til I figured out is was peg board glassed over. Needless to say it was removed and replaced with balsaQuote:

That is where I saw the Turbines race for the first time. And the first time the Bud boat came to the pit turn at full speed, I actually got a little nervous for the driver.

Masonite/pegboard can hold a ton of resin. Its definitely a no-no in fiberglass construction. Pretty sure you would have to cover it with some kind of primer/sealer to keep it from continually absorbing the resin - resin itself won't seal it.Quote:
