I'm clearing off the shop benches now..of "stuff on the list"..(it can wait)..making "sit down room", getting the chairs out. I'm tossing a "Happy hour party", in the shop tomorrow, for the working stiffs..hard workers too, "crete drivers, power company dudes, work in the worst weather, power outs..solid good people. Used to be the 9 mile down the road tavern, on Friday, but they can't afford getting busted..driving back here. Here its private..tell'em..come on over..roast/toast..crawl home. Who cares. One more Seger..me and Mary were tight.."friends"..her a B/F, me a G./F...HS. We would complain a headache, dump the others, meet Mary later, and stay out all night, just BSing, and "crusin"..back in the 70's.....in fast old muscle cars!
Girl had/has .."spunk", and hope she comes home healthy.
