Got 2 YZ's. both old 06 2 smoke bikes. 125 and 250 cc They have power valves and it makes a BIG difference in the way they run. I pity the fool that has a new 250 4 stroke that tries to run with the 250 Yz 2 smoke.
Bought em new I think the 125 was 2850 bucks and the 250 was 3800 bucks. With helmets and gloves thrown in on the deal. :D
What was the error and when did they see it? AFAIK they never stopped making 2-stroke bikes, but they still make 4-strokes today which are quite popular. FWIW I still have my 1999 YZ250...Quote:

Chaz you said they made an error and then corrected it. What was the error and what did they do to correct it?
Is yamaha making an error running the max cc’s allowed for that engine by the rule books?
