Thats how i see it. I know Sue has had a smile on her face for awhile now listening and posting and of course reading Robbys adventures. He has a million of them each one better than the last. Havent met a bad person on here yet

Good finds since I bowed out...Exorcist/Tubular bells...WOW...thats an oldie! Movie scared the crap out me too!

On the nights me, thats where I shine. I'm useless in the morning. Got up at 5:30am for decades, now my turn to get the paybacks of retired. Just me and the dog, and crack of noon, good enough now. Same stuff getting done, just different timing!

Good for you!!! One Mans day is another Mans knight. I work seasonal, March to December,up at 4:30 am, in bed by 9:30 Mid December thru February, I'm up all hours of the knight.

Hey Denny. Been gone Illinois 15 years. Went back 3 years ago, big HS picnic. Did a 26 day road trip. Got into Morris about 4 on a Friday. Bought gas. Heading to Downers Grove.
MAN, has there been building going on! Took me 3 hours to get to Downers! Should have brought a deck of cards, so us sitting still in traffic (355 construction, heading south with the road)..had something to do! But worth it, to get back to the great FOOD!

Great tunes Guys!!!! except the excorsist...AFR I hated that movie it scared the heck out of me too, whenever it is on I have to change the channel like instantly.......

Try it STONED! I went with a bunch of crazy potheads back when first came out. Swear I had my eyes closed the whole time. I never was a scary movie type, and had no idea what I was stumbling into!

Being a road builder, I've seen alot of the infra structure increase. It was going completely crazy till mid 07.
I took my wife to Midway airport this morning, I 55 all the way in was stacked. Mostly 30 to 40 mph. some slower, 355 north was chocked full and stopped at 5:30 in the morning.
Can't wait to sell the biz. and get out of here. Going to Georgia- So. Carolina border in the foot hills somewhere. Then like you, I'll come back for a visit.

I don't think I could handle it anymore. 355 was just a dotted outline on a R/E map when I moved to Downers..(from Riverside). Plus a friend of mine, flew small planes..(now an 8 seat Jet, in Denver)..we flew the whole proposed route. Lotta land turned into a lotta concrete!
You went right by where I used to work. I55, and First Ave, in McCook..between LaGrange road, and Harlem,,(43?..been a while)
Reynolds Aluminum. Massive downsize in 94. 21 years in, 44 age. Rule of 65 (age/service), got me pensioned out very early in age. been a bum 15 years now, and far from wealthy, but living easy now, on my time. I can always make money, but never time!
And Reynolds is gone now, torn down..office park now.
Good luck on selling out, and getting out. you will never regret it, much less figure out how ya got anything done, AND work! 10 minute job now takes me all week!
