Was that #3..... yes, I kinda think that might be the 3rd one .... I'm kinda positive it might be!
Who built that boat .....I didn't tell you what kind of hull it is cause I don't remember(quit buggin' me bout that!)
How many boats raced in the R3 ..... heavens, I must have that written down somewhere.
Were they all Coswoth/MerCrusier..... I think all of mine were, maybe?
Why are outboards in most of the photos ..... cause they're boats and they look better in the water than on the trailer.
What kind of speeds did they run ..... don't know, but I'm sure it was over 60. I know that because Garbrecht told me that your eyes will water at speeds over 60 and my eyes always watered when I drove that boat.
Okay then Sir Jackie, thanks for all of the info. I imagine the troops are just thrilled learning all of that super secret stuff about racing in Europe in the R3 class! :(

So what's the story on the #15 Venus?
Jackies no 15 Milesmaster (VENUS) 2.0 litre inboard can be seen in Action Racing at the 1976 Bristol Grand Prix on You Tube.If you GOOGLE Jackie Wilson powerboat racing driver look for Bristol powerboat race in the 70s Pt 2 this race went out live in the UK on World of Sport and had Murrey Walker the top car racing sports commentator. In the camera shot of all the boats coming down to the bottom buoy see if you agree what no boat is leading this race`Murrey Walker says its no 9?
