We made the block, crankcase, chaincase, rods, crankshaft, flywheel, and numerous small parts at Merc Plant 4 for the 644. Had two big honkin' Tillotsen carbs. The Merc Exhibits department made a motorized cutaway of the motor, hid the motor inside the starter. That cutaway still exists - somewhere.Quote:
