Got it running today!
I was definitely the riff-raff in the neighborhood today. Probably the noisiest thing within a 2 mile radius.

Now I just need to finish the wiring.

A bit more progress....I finally got it on the new (to me) trailer today. This one is much more substantial than the one I had under it.
Also got the answer on whether I really needed the ball type scuppers for my cockpit drains.
Looks like it was a good idea.
I'll make sure to have a set of flip up style plugs for the insides just in case of a scupper fail.
This is a 3.0 liter with a total of 18" of setback.

looks great!
Great job! enjoy
Thanks for the kind words. This has taken much longer than I would have liked.
I still don't have all of my interior from the upholstery shop. He's now taken 5 months to do something he quoted 3 weeks to do. I'm trying really hard not to be a dick but I've just about reached the end of my patience. At this point if I had not owned an upholstery company in my past I'd be flaming him left and right.... Sometimes empathy is a bad thing.
Lookin good! I just got the reaction on the water. I ended up back 14" to make everything work out. Adds a bit to the porpoise world for me.
I still have not run mine in the water yet. Have a bit more work to do. I figure maybe another weekend of work and I'll be done.
I managed to get the coaming pads on today and built up and installed the bimini top.
I must say that I am really liking the lines of this hull and that everybody that stops to talk comments on the profile/shape. To bad they are not making them any longer.

Finally got the rest of the interior today. I think I'll actually get it in the water this weekend.
That thing is looking sweet
nice! hope we can get together sometime
Thanks guys. Overall I'm pretty happy with how it has turned out. Throughout the build I've tried to keep in mind that it will be used in saltwater and that there will be a bunch of kids banging around on it for the next few years and make it as tough and functional as possible.
I'll be looking forward to seeing you all at one of the get togethers soon.
Regards, Ken Wolkens
The boat looks great!
