We had this conversation a few years ago and decided it was the angle the picture was taken from that causes the illusion of TII's. I think we agreed that the boat is running TI's.
Hi Bill ... Definitely running TII's. There is no mistaking those cowls with the air holes on the top front.

I am thinking that they are TIIX's because the TII's had the hold down hood pins on the top of the cowl to hold it down and I do not see those. The TIIX's had the rubber pull downs that held the cowl to the belly pan and I think I can see those on those engines. But then again....maybe I am the one seeing things...:eek:
This confirms the 1974 Merc Catalog shot of Reggie's #76 running TIIs. I'm betting that Reggie was the only owner / driver who ran twin TIIs on a Glastron Molinari. Probably had something to do with the factory teams focusing on single engine rigs but Garbrecht still wanting Reggie to run the twin for PR purposes.
