Wonder if the driver of that crash is okay. Looked limp in the cockpit and the engine still running. Probably trashed the engine as it sunk.

Sorry but the cowls need a redesign.
They need a small taper to the top like a f1v8
For those that have asked you can see in this picture the engine is mounted at the bottom of the bucket wich in turn is mounted directly yo the gearcase. No mid section.Attachment 403759

After a barrel roll at the London GP 1983 Luigi Valdano lost the original cowling. He had to borrow this red F-3 cowling from Dario Grassini.
