Yes, 086 did race in Australia.
The boat was called Banana Split (being yellow with black motors, 1350's I recall). Originally the owner tried the cockpits midships. However, she wouldn't sit up. Subsequently, they were moved aft.
Judging by the background, I feel that pic was taken in Botany Bay NSW.
I recall her racing in a few events, until she eventually "split" in half.
