Louise had a house pretty close to the inlet there!

I remember that it was for sale, yes. But that was a few years back. Hey, ya never know Jackie. Can't hurt to inquire. The bridge used to route behind the test center. The new bridge is so large, they needed to build it in front of the test facility, out in the water. That completely ruined the views, and its resale value for the future, such as for condo developers, etc... Still good for a marina type property though.
....And then there is Clearwater Beach, which was voted best beach in the country by Trip Adviser. The Miami area might have great sunrises, but you don't have these...

As you know Raymond, we also have great golf courses here in Stuart...https://scontent.xx.fbcdn.net/v/t1.0...e6&oe=598E7F73
You may have golf courses in florida Fuji, but you don't have one where you can stand on the 9th and see for fifty miles in any direction, such sights as the Brighton dome to the east, Portsmouth and the spinnaker tower to the west, Osbourne House (Queen Victoria's country seat) on the Isle of Wight to the south!
Reason for this of course is, in West Sussex we have "the downs" colonials would call them hills---------and the lushest green grass on the planet which can only come with age and history!
Im sure you all heard the tale of one of the USA president, asking the greenkeeper at Goodwood how come he got the greens so perfect? He told old Theodore, " take a stretch of grass ---feed it, love it, roll it, cut it and water it for 200 years, and you have the basis for a good green!. It's a little thing called "HISTORY" ------we have it in spades over here.
Your move Fuji.
Hey Jackie.. This Sunday is the Beaulieu Boat Jumble, I will as usual be going down with usual band of robbers and pirates from Bristol Docks.
Now, as you have found this interest in sail boats would you like me to bring you back a pair of dem perty yeller welllies that they wear?...Hat with an anchor on?.....book with pictures of knots in?.........How about a nice Rolex DeepSea all the way from Thailand.. Phill.

Latest St piece of concept nonsense------now got a full house of oversize trophies, all ready to submit------let's hope I get to eat bear next week!
Have to say..thats pretty cool. And I like the dirt floors. Never have to sweep up. Course, the ceiling seems to get closer & closer... I don't care what these guys say Jacko, you do damn nice work!http://www.screamandfly.com/attachme...7&d=1492786091
Houses are like boats, no one is perfect. Gotta have at least two...
When I move int the new workshop Fuji, the whole workshop floor was wall to wall fitted carpet. Well it was January when we moved, thought it might be nice to have it warm underfoot-----big mistake----carpets and planers, band saws and metal lathes do not mix. You just get left with bits the vacuum cleaner won't pick up and the brush curls up and dies soon as it comes out of the broom cupboard. Drastic action is called for in the form of complete carpet removal -----that way I can sweep up and keep the shop tidy. I'm already bending down to reach the workbench and stepping up to get in the shop. Its a bit like working in the local tip at the minute !
Damned weekend is here again------winters over and done with and we're half way through spring, can't get used to the ever increasing speed of the life roundabout.
Cold as charity again this morning with more of the same due next week. Still too cold to doff another cashmere------three is about right for this temperature.
I feel the scrapyard calling out my name-----maybe today I'll get lucky!
Restocked the metal pile------found a 6' X6"X 3' X 1/2" slab that I can get at least fifty gearcases from.
A whole carrier bag full of helicopters and fighters, had to bite the bullit and pay through the nose, but I got enough fly babies to last me the rest of my days.
Started on the big clean up--------will have to bin a ton of the old stuff, nobody wants anything these days, so if you've seen anything that tickles your fancy , either drop me a line, or give me a call !

Just some of the stuff I've been beavering away at for the last month or so--------nothing happened yet, world is full of "Positive Maybes".
Need ya to sort out the angle of dangle Bob------was going to do a Fuji and post a shed load, but I feel such a Pratt posting upside downers that I called the whole thing off !
Thanks Bob------that's another one and a half I owe you !.
i got 58 fighters and whirlybirds-------show you what I'm going to do with em in the next set of pickies.
Was A wise decision to buy the bag full of goodies--------over 30 heliochopters and 25 fighters plus a few commercial buses like the Boing 700-454 and the 800 airbus !
Got some quality time in the shop today, was meant to be clearing up and carpet cutting, but the best laid plans of mice and men etc, etc, etc.
Ok, so tomorrow I start the big clear out clean up------kitchen goddess says now I don't do the garden any more, I should be able to keep the shop tidy.
What she doesn't realise is just how busy I am, haven't had time since last November to post the hydro to JOHN Schubert-------well that's my excuse -------so live with it !
Haircut and beard trim day------I'm beginning to look like Hemingway's "Old man and the sea" character. Must be related to a gorilla somewhere down the line. Why is it that hair grows everywhere in abundance except on the head ?
walked into the corner of the band saw, banged the muscle on my left arm--------bruise as big as a tennis ball with all the colours of the rainbow. Looks like her indoors has been knocking three sheets of sh-t out of me !
Forecast is lousy for the week -------does warm up a bit by the weekend. Not before time, you know the old adage--------"-naer cast a clout till May is out"------ there is some controversy about this, ----is it the May blossom----or the month of May ? Either way, I'm still keeping three cashmeres on till it warms up.
Made a concept of the legendary " MERCRUDJON " outboard.
Story has it Carl and Raiph were having lunch at "Adam and Eve's" diner , out on Paradiso highway, East of Eternity. CK was discussing the virtues of the five cycle, triple supercharged six stage, oxygenated, radial silicone, ceramic outboard. Old Ralph was in agreement that they would build a prototype----iron out the bugs and start a whole new product to put paid to Nipponese aspirations.
Havent come across any evidence that it ever ran at Parker--------have seen an old photograph, (just the one) which is the basis for the latest offering.
Will post a progress piccie tomorrow .
Got the whole day to myself so full seven hours in the shop.
Will take a few phoggies just to keep you all interested. Surprised nobody commented on the Mecrudjon, but then again not a lot people know about it?
Did they make the engine with a mix of parts from both factories?
Decided on a swirl finish on the boat--------one of the best mounts ever, a set of brass bevel gears, super smooth, ------and that Mercrudjon ! . Wonder what sort of gee gees that thing pulled ?
Maybe one of the old guys from Lake X still has the spread sheets.

Lost a lot of sleep last night with the aggravation------any suggestions ? I'll listen to anybody!
Jackie I have all three types of arthritis... psoriatic, rheumatoid and osteo PLUS dysbaric osteo narcrosis (pressureized bone death, from 2400 hrs plus under water on scuba)and I have some suggestions.

a hell of a time with limited joint movement!
Hope this can be some help......Gary:D
Oldboatman, was that just diving or being bent damage?
Thanks a bunch Gary------so if I read it right, no lobster, no red meat !
So I guess "Surf-n-Turf" with a glass of CC7 is not recommended.
But it's ok to have Cabbage, cauliflower, Carrots and the like.
Im in danger of ending it all by throwing myself off a thick pile carpet !
Cherry juice is good for arthritis. And the gout also.....Must be very tart....I have had success with my gout drinking it daily. Warm water soaks may give some relief also. I get stiffness in my hands also.
Jackie Not sayin ya need to give it all up.....just back off a bit. lol I save up my drinkin for the boat racing with my team mates( drag boat I sponser) and WOW what a life change from a half gal biweekly! Gary
