What was the original idea behind these inlets? I never saw a cowl that had actual cutouts and there wasn't any room inside for any kind of spray plenum? This is the boat that was destroyed at the Marine Stadium with Johnny Reed driving. When I arrived at the accident in my SE boat the only thing I could recognize was a driver face down in the water. I went in the water and rolled him over and found it was Johnny. Johnny told me recently that Stu had sold this boat just before the accident.
